The duck appears to flap furiously as the wind blows. He has no crank shaft or mechanism other than two propellers with the blades pitched at opposite angles to each other on a central pivot point made of 25mm dowel. This causes them to rotate independently of each other in opposite directions as the wind blows. He's carved from wood and painted with cellulose lacquer paint, sealed with yacht varnish for extra protection from the elements. The propeller blades and feet are made from birch plywood which is laminated for extra shape and thickness. The legs are formed from 6mm aluminium. Shipping costs will depend on your location.
